Assumptions used

Handling hours = m³ × 0.26 × [1 + 0.12 × total stair flights + min(0.35, total carry in feet ÷ 250)] × 2 ÷ handlers. Add both properties’ access conditions, driving minutes ÷ 60, and a fixed 45-minute buffer. Crew range: 1–6. Packing/unpacking excluded; zero volume still includes driving and buffer.

How this calculator works

Plan for both ends of the journey. Extra stairs and longer carries increase handling time, while the drive and fixed buffer remain even for a very small load. Keep packing, parking arrangements and building delays in your wider schedule; the crew model cannot account for every bottleneck.
